Veuve
Cliquot
With
it's distinctive label one of the best-loved non-vintage champagnes on
the market - plenty of fruit, finesse and style. Definitely one to raise
the spirits on a special occasion.
Who
would not say "yes" to a bottle of Bolly - one of the greats
- it's Ab Fab - the celebration drink of choice for those who really
know their bubbly - yeasty nose, crisp acidity and a rich full bodied
taste on the palate. Is there a better way to say "I love you"
- Wow!
There's
not a lot to say about this except that it is superb, named after the
17th century Benedictine monk who is said to have 'invented' champagne.
If their tipple was anything like this, they knew what they were about
in the cloisters.
The
most majestic of the non-vintage champagnes, aged 5-7 years, blended
from 10 vintages and 47 wines from 25 villages - a taste of honey and
nuts, graceful acidity and a beautiful long finish on the tongue.
